Catching Up...SuperCross, 2 new family members, Schools Out

In May Max and I went to Salt Lake to SUPERCROSS! It was a lot of fun to get away. The weather was nice until the final races and then it rained, snowed, sleet you name it everything. I was so wet that my pants were falling off! It was great to get away with my wonderful husband and spend sometime just us.

Yesterday we welcomed 2 new family members to our house. They do not have names yet. This winter our love Huggy (our cat) ran away and never returned. This spring we realized how much we loved Huggy when we were being over ran with mice. So my granny had some kittys so we finally brought them home. The light one is so kind it lets Indee pack it everywhere. The other one is a little wild! She hates our dog!! She hisses every time you walk out in the garage but is fine once you pet her. They are just exploring and getting use to their new home. We are excited!!

School is finally out! This is how I look the last couple weeks of school. I complete shut down. I don't clean I don't do laundry or dishes and most nights I fall asleep on the couch. So Max thinks it is funny to take pictures of me. I am a little sad this year for school to be out just because I had a wonderful class! They will be missed greatly!

Yet it is so nice to be home and spending extra time with Indee. Who has grown up so much lately. She is like a little lady; most of the time. She has really learned how to push our buttons and Max and I have had to take a step back and keep our tempers in control. But I still love her dearly and can't believe how fast she is growing up and the things she is learning. She sings and dances most of the day.

So that is our excitement and we are just ready to enjoy some actual summer if it will ever come!!

Indee's Story

Indee was born @ 10:31 pm on April 23. She had sucked in muchonium, so that doctor sucked that out but then she stopped making noise. The nurses took her to the side and started working on her, soon she was ran down the hall to the NICU. We found out that she was stable and went to see her. The nurses decided she was doing good and gave her a bath. This made her body crash. At 3:30 am we were told that she was very sick and would be flying to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake. At 6:30 am she was on a venerator and on her way with her Daddy by her side; having one blood transfusion on the plane and other when they arrived at the hospital. I checked out at 8:30 and my mom drove me to Salt Lake. We found out that Indee had ammonia, pulmonary hypertension, low blood pressure and was on a ventilator. She was on a lot of extreme medicine. She was an extreme fighter. After they let her come out of her comatose state, we had to pin her arm to the blankets because she would take her pick line arm that had a board attached to it, and bang it on her venerator. After many days of tests we found out this was all caused because Indee and I had grown a vein between us but I was stealing blood and not replacing. The doctors have no idea how much blood was in her system but they can not explain how her kidneys, lungs and brain developed with what she had. She is truly our little miracle. After two weeks in the NICU with amazing doctors and nurses we came home. With oxygen but still home. After 3 months we sent the oxygen away. She is now an amazing 4 year old! We couldn’t ask for more!! We love you Indee!!

Camas's Story

November 16, 2010 I went to the hospital at 8PM to get started. I was already having contractions 5 minutes apart but they were not intense. Took some drugs and tried to sleep through the night. At 7AM on November 17 the doc broke my water. We found out there was mucunium again! (totally freaked me out) My contractions started to get pretty intense so epidural to the recscue. At 11AM I started pushing but not much was happening. I kept falling asleep inbetween pushes so we waited for the doc to arrive. After about an 1 1/2 hours of pushing on and off we were getting closer. Camas did not want to come so they tried to vaccuum. They realized she was posterier (face up) so a different vaccuum came out. Twice they tried and I tried with no luck. Her heart rate was dropping rapidly and they told me we had to get her out. The doc was ready with the forcepts and we tried on more time; stopped her and sucked out has much mucunium as possible. She was then taken to the side where respitory was waiting incase, the charge nurse, our nurse and another lady. It was a full house. She arrived at 12:31 PM on November 17. After a few minutes of suction we had a screaming baby in our hands. After all of the stress and worrying she is very healthy and happy newborn!
