Oma/Papa's then Grammie/Paca's

Indee's new farm set. I don't know if her or Papa were more excited.
New Camper and Car.
We were so spoiled this Christmas like always. We have amazing families that do so much for us. We are so grateful to them and the wonderful Christmas we had. We hope you all had the same!

Our house

Indee recieved a dress up kit. She would not stop dressing up. She wouldn't open any other gifts. Max and I opened our thinking it would inspire her but it didn't. Finally she decided to open more. Then she was so excited about what she got she didn't want to leave to go and open more presents. She is so funny!

Christmas Dress

Yes we took family pictures with the dog. I know we are turning into one of those families. But we love him so much!!

Snow Day

Today I had a snow day from school. Yeah for Fremont School District! So we took full advantage. We went and did some last minute Christmas shopping. When we got home we went out and played in the snow. Max made it home from Island Park last night before the storm. So it was a great family day. Indee loves anything outside. We played in the drifts in the ditch. We went sliding down Max's dirt jumps. She even helped with some shoveling. We just had tons of fun in the snow. Indee could not stop laughing and falling down and having fun. She is so GREAT! We are so lucky she enjoys the outdoors as much as us.

This is after. She was so cold that her face, hands and arms were turning red. But she cried and cried because she didn't want to come in; Max finally had to carry her in the house. She is a WILD girl. But we love her!!

Indee kept following Max around and around the tree. It was SO funny.

Braids

Liz is so amazing at doing hair. I don't know what we would do without her. Lately Indee has been into braids. She actually sits and lets Liz do them. They are a good team! They always look beautiful. WOW thanks Sizzy! (These pictures were taken after a whole day of having braids, Indee is rough on hair)

Indee Dressing Herself

Indee wanted to take off her own dress and get herself dressed after church. This is what we found! She thought she was hilarious. She always keeps things entertaining. She has such a funny personality. As a side note: Indee went to nursery for the first time by herself. She stayed until the last 30 minutes and then got upset over something silly but she still wanted her Mommy. 30 minutes is better than the whole time. YEAH INDEE!

Indee LOVES her Dad

Max said he was going outside, so Indee said "Indee come to." He said if you dress warm you can come out.
Warm at our house means SNOW CLOTHES!
We had to stop and play in the snow from last night! Hello it is November 5. Then she remember her mission. She started yelling "I am coming daddy!"

Indee and Daddy! She loves to do anything that her dad is doing. Some nights she will go out and follow him around for 30 to 45 minutes. It is fine with me. I can do things I need to do and Indee is happy hanging out with her dad. Max doesn't seem to mind so I guess it is worth every minute. I don't know what she would do without him. He does things with her that I would never think of. What a great dad!

Copper

Indee and Copper were playing but as soon as I got the camera they didn't want to play anymore. She was feeding him leaves! It was so funny. She would say "Copper your food, eat it." He would take it in his mouth the drop it. So I got some pictures of Copper's tricks! Don't worry that is Copper's old collar Indee is using as a mustache.

Night with Papa (warning long story)

Last night my mom had to take care of Granny because she had a knee replacement. So Indee and I were on dinner duty. Sorry this is a long story but I think anything involving potatoes turns into a long story.
Driving to the doubles to feed Mary and Clayton.
Indee wanted to get out and watch them come down the field. It was so cold. Sorry it got dark faster than I thought it would.

Papa and Bob stopped for dinner.
We were riding along great with Papa when all of a sudden, OVERLOADED! Papa and Salamia got out to check out the problem. We had broke a chain and the link was stuck. We had to pull out of the way because Uncle Roy was digging behind us.
Papa, Salamai, and Philip trying to get the dirt off the chain.
Philip finally pulled the broken link out.
Papa, Salamia, Rigo, Philip and Kevin trying to get the chain out.
Pulling the new chain in.
Indee thought it was great playing in the tractor while Papa was out. Thanks for letting us ride Papa. It was great! It is always an adventure digging potatoes. We love it!!

Favorite Time of Year

I have two favorite times of the year Harvest Time and Snow! I do not like when the two mix but I love them both. Of course right now I love Harvest because it is that time of year. I am sad I am not working this year just going up when needed. I love the feeling of not getting ready, putting on old clothes and getting DIRTY! It has been great to be home with Indee this year. I love sharing something I love with her. It just puts a bounce in my step and a smile on my face. I am so lucky to have a job that I get time off during Harvest. Thank you South Fremont for two whole weeks out. I love the time spent with my family and especially my dad. He works so hard, especially this time of year. I can't believe the long hours he puts in to provide for his family. Then there is my mom who spends hours making dinner to take to her family every night. She really in a wonder women! We rode up with her last night. She gives up so much of her time for her family. And Max works so hard to help out his family on the farm. Indee is so lucky to have two wonderful families that farm. I am so glad she gets to experience it all! I just hope that she can learn and grow to love it as much as me.

Riding with Daddy!

HELP! Drive faster Paca is going to catch us!

Daddy stepped out so Indee took over at the wheel!

Copper decided we were not the exciting so he decied to take a nap. He is such a good boy!

We are such great partners. Indee was standing on the seat with daddy. I was sitting on the armrest and Copper kept trying to jump up and join us. Indee was dancing most of the time or trying to touch things she shouldn't. I tried to get video of her dancing but it doesn't look the same. Max was very patient with us all. Thanks Daddy!! (I know your thinking wow emily you look scary, maybe you should get ready during harvest)

Copper was so excited to see us! (He thought we had food for him. Sorry only treats for Daddy.)
