Good Luck Liz

Liz left this morning for another adventure. She is off to Peru for 11 weeks. It is hard to see her go but she does such wonderful things and touches so many people lives that we can't stop her. We went to Salt Lake yesterday. Drove her to the airport at 5 this morning. Indee is a little confused she keeps asking when we are going to pick her up. It could be a long 11 weeks. I just have to say that I love Liz so much; she is my best friend and such a great example to all of us. Good Luck Liz!! We love you so much!!

MUD/Hair Cuts

Most little girls put on pink dress and play house and dress up; NOT Indee...she went out and made a mud whole and played in it! So FUNNY!! She is quite the girl. We also had our hair cut today. Indee's looks so cute and we actually cut quite a bit off. Thank you Sizzy!

I know I take such great picutres! NOT!! Oh well my hair is really cute!

Girls Week

We just spent a wonderful week in Island Park. I don't know why we call it girls week because boys are there. My mom and all of her sisters were able to come up. It was GREAT! It was so fun to spend time with cousins and relax in the sun. We ate tons of good food, tanned, tanned and did some more tanning, went boating and swam. I forgot my camera every time we went in the boat so I don't have any boating pictures; just pics of us hanging out. Plus my dad was only able to come up 2 days so I was driving the boat. Here is our week...

Camp Out!

Max surprised Indee with a Camp out in the backyard. We all slept in the tent, even Copper. He was calmer than Indee. It was a fun night! Thanks Max!!

Indee's Story

Indee was born @ 10:31 pm on April 23. She had sucked in muchonium, so that doctor sucked that out but then she stopped making noise. The nurses took her to the side and started working on her, soon she was ran down the hall to the NICU. We found out that she was stable and went to see her. The nurses decided she was doing good and gave her a bath. This made her body crash. At 3:30 am we were told that she was very sick and would be flying to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake. At 6:30 am she was on a venerator and on her way with her Daddy by her side; having one blood transfusion on the plane and other when they arrived at the hospital. I checked out at 8:30 and my mom drove me to Salt Lake. We found out that Indee had ammonia, pulmonary hypertension, low blood pressure and was on a ventilator. She was on a lot of extreme medicine. She was an extreme fighter. After they let her come out of her comatose state, we had to pin her arm to the blankets because she would take her pick line arm that had a board attached to it, and bang it on her venerator. After many days of tests we found out this was all caused because Indee and I had grown a vein between us but I was stealing blood and not replacing. The doctors have no idea how much blood was in her system but they can not explain how her kidneys, lungs and brain developed with what she had. She is truly our little miracle. After two weeks in the NICU with amazing doctors and nurses we came home. With oxygen but still home. After 3 months we sent the oxygen away. She is now an amazing 4 year old! We couldn’t ask for more!! We love you Indee!!

Camas's Story

November 16, 2010 I went to the hospital at 8PM to get started. I was already having contractions 5 minutes apart but they were not intense. Took some drugs and tried to sleep through the night. At 7AM on November 17 the doc broke my water. We found out there was mucunium again! (totally freaked me out) My contractions started to get pretty intense so epidural to the recscue. At 11AM I started pushing but not much was happening. I kept falling asleep inbetween pushes so we waited for the doc to arrive. After about an 1 1/2 hours of pushing on and off we were getting closer. Camas did not want to come so they tried to vaccuum. They realized she was posterier (face up) so a different vaccuum came out. Twice they tried and I tried with no luck. Her heart rate was dropping rapidly and they told me we had to get her out. The doc was ready with the forcepts and we tried on more time; stopped her and sucked out has much mucunium as possible. She was then taken to the side where respitory was waiting incase, the charge nurse, our nurse and another lady. It was a full house. She arrived at 12:31 PM on November 17. After a few minutes of suction we had a screaming baby in our hands. After all of the stress and worrying she is very healthy and happy newborn!
