Indee's hair cut

Indee has been growing her hair out for a long time. This past week she decided to cut it. It might be because she went to the movie Tangled or every time I comb it and she cries I tell her we have to take care of long hair. :) She even "made appointment" with my sister Liz without asking me first so I knew she was serious. It looks so cute! We are debating to go shorter. It is so fun to see her growing up and making her own decisions. Love you Indee!

Doc

Camas is growing and doing wonderful. She is a great baby. I will try to get more pictures on soon. She went to the doctor on Monday: Weight: 8.6lbs 48%, Height: 21.5 83%. She is such a blessing to have in our home!

Trick or Treat

I have such a great mom that again this year made Indee and I some great costumes. I was a very fancy witch and Indee was my black cat. Indee was able to dress up for Pre-school on Thursday and she wouldn't let me wash off her whiskers that night. Then Saturday she was so excited to put her costume on again. She said she was never taking it off. Luckily we did get it off last night and she didn't ask to wear it for the primary program. The only problem is she keeps meowing! She wants to be a kitty all the time! I hope we can survive. Thanks again mom for the wonderful costumes!!

It was so nice to have a 2 week harvest break. We spent time with Max and his family, and helped my mom take dinner up to my dad, Kevin, Mary and Clayton. I love harvest so much! So many great memories. We also have the babies room ready to go so now that count down is really on. We also sent Kevin on his mission this week. I have had so many mixed emotions. I am just so proud of him and his great strength to go. We love him so much. Indee is really struggling and tells me every night she misses Kevin so that makes it a little harder but we know he is doing the right thing.

Life is Interesting

Lately my life just is so crazy. First, it was my birthday on Saturday. It is always an adventure because most of the people I love and care about are digging potatoes. I am use to it by now but it is never a normal birthday. Luckily, I have an amazing mom that always makes me feel special so along with her my aunts and sister I enjoyed the day. I received some wonderful gifts and felt so loved. One exciting thing was that because of the heat everyone quit digging early so I actually had dinner with my dad, brothers and sisters and Max. That was very nice!! Second, is my pregnancy. It is going so fast yet not fast enough. I am 33 weeks and feeling pretty good. I am out for potato harvest for 2 weeks so I have to get the babies room ready. According to today I have only gained 9 lbs which is crazy because with Indee I was HUGE! I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so sticking to my diet is defiantly keeping my weight down. I have been monitoring my blood sugar for about a month and that is going really good. All I have asked for when I get home from the hospital is a can of frosting and a huge Cherry Pepsi! This has put me into a high risk pregnancy even more than before so I am now doing 2 ultra sounds a week. It is fun to see our sweet baby yet takes a lot of time. I keep telling myself it is for the best and everything will be great. After Indee's experience I am just trying to be positive and praying we have a healthy happy little girl in 7 weeks. Some days I am starting to wonder if having babies is my calling but at least we have 1 wild 4 year old and I know another wild one on the way. So that is my life lately. Indee is just enjoying life and Max is digging potatoes. Crazy crazy life! You never know what it will throw at you!

Crazy Life

Life has been very crazy lately. I will get pictures on one day but for now just words. Max is busy getting ready to cut grain. I can't believe it is that time of year already! Indee has had some adjusting with me going back to work but it has been good. Luckily she has amazing grandmas that take care of her. She started pre school today and is extremely excited!! I have started a new school year with some interesting students. Yes anyone that has seen me lately we are are expecting a new little girl in our lives in November. We are so excited and totally stressed and the same time. I feel like we are just on the run 24 hours a day. Hopefully things will start to calm down soon.

We had such a wonderful week playing with Indee's cousins from Texas. They are all so fun and loveable. We will miss them tons until we get to see them again! Thank you for the wonderful week Wendy, Paisley, Devin, Brigham, Brynn and Naya! We LOVE you!!

Indee's Story

Indee was born @ 10:31 pm on April 23. She had sucked in muchonium, so that doctor sucked that out but then she stopped making noise. The nurses took her to the side and started working on her, soon she was ran down the hall to the NICU. We found out that she was stable and went to see her. The nurses decided she was doing good and gave her a bath. This made her body crash. At 3:30 am we were told that she was very sick and would be flying to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake. At 6:30 am she was on a venerator and on her way with her Daddy by her side; having one blood transfusion on the plane and other when they arrived at the hospital. I checked out at 8:30 and my mom drove me to Salt Lake. We found out that Indee had ammonia, pulmonary hypertension, low blood pressure and was on a ventilator. She was on a lot of extreme medicine. She was an extreme fighter. After they let her come out of her comatose state, we had to pin her arm to the blankets because she would take her pick line arm that had a board attached to it, and bang it on her venerator. After many days of tests we found out this was all caused because Indee and I had grown a vein between us but I was stealing blood and not replacing. The doctors have no idea how much blood was in her system but they can not explain how her kidneys, lungs and brain developed with what she had. She is truly our little miracle. After two weeks in the NICU with amazing doctors and nurses we came home. With oxygen but still home. After 3 months we sent the oxygen away. She is now an amazing 4 year old! We couldn’t ask for more!! We love you Indee!!

Camas's Story

November 16, 2010 I went to the hospital at 8PM to get started. I was already having contractions 5 minutes apart but they were not intense. Took some drugs and tried to sleep through the night. At 7AM on November 17 the doc broke my water. We found out there was mucunium again! (totally freaked me out) My contractions started to get pretty intense so epidural to the recscue. At 11AM I started pushing but not much was happening. I kept falling asleep inbetween pushes so we waited for the doc to arrive. After about an 1 1/2 hours of pushing on and off we were getting closer. Camas did not want to come so they tried to vaccuum. They realized she was posterier (face up) so a different vaccuum came out. Twice they tried and I tried with no luck. Her heart rate was dropping rapidly and they told me we had to get her out. The doc was ready with the forcepts and we tried on more time; stopped her and sucked out has much mucunium as possible. She was then taken to the side where respitory was waiting incase, the charge nurse, our nurse and another lady. It was a full house. She arrived at 12:31 PM on November 17. After a few minutes of suction we had a screaming baby in our hands. After all of the stress and worrying she is very healthy and happy newborn!
