Bad Girl

I have been terrible at posting. Life has just been different. On Christmas Eve my granny suddenly passed away. Ever since then a black cloud has been hanging around me. She is the only grandma I have really been close to. I have spent almost every Sunday at her house since I can't remember when. So it has just been really different and hard. But I need to pull myself out and share some great things about my girls. Camas is a wild woman that talks all day about who knows what. She has started throwing quite the temper fits that is hard not to laugh. Indee is working so hard in kindergarten and such a fun girl! She loves Camas so much and Camas loves her. Camas goes to Indee before she comes to me when we pick her up from school. Indee is a great big sister (most of the time.) Max started a new job at a place called OX. He works 4 10's so that has been a big change for us. My mom has been dealing with thyroid cancer and had her radioactive treatment so we cannot be around her for at least 10 days. So life has been a little down but I need to be strong and pull out of it. I will try to get some pictures on. :)

Indee's Story

Indee was born @ 10:31 pm on April 23. She had sucked in muchonium, so that doctor sucked that out but then she stopped making noise. The nurses took her to the side and started working on her, soon she was ran down the hall to the NICU. We found out that she was stable and went to see her. The nurses decided she was doing good and gave her a bath. This made her body crash. At 3:30 am we were told that she was very sick and would be flying to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake. At 6:30 am she was on a venerator and on her way with her Daddy by her side; having one blood transfusion on the plane and other when they arrived at the hospital. I checked out at 8:30 and my mom drove me to Salt Lake. We found out that Indee had ammonia, pulmonary hypertension, low blood pressure and was on a ventilator. She was on a lot of extreme medicine. She was an extreme fighter. After they let her come out of her comatose state, we had to pin her arm to the blankets because she would take her pick line arm that had a board attached to it, and bang it on her venerator. After many days of tests we found out this was all caused because Indee and I had grown a vein between us but I was stealing blood and not replacing. The doctors have no idea how much blood was in her system but they can not explain how her kidneys, lungs and brain developed with what she had. She is truly our little miracle. After two weeks in the NICU with amazing doctors and nurses we came home. With oxygen but still home. After 3 months we sent the oxygen away. She is now an amazing 4 year old! We couldn’t ask for more!! We love you Indee!!

Camas's Story

November 16, 2010 I went to the hospital at 8PM to get started. I was already having contractions 5 minutes apart but they were not intense. Took some drugs and tried to sleep through the night. At 7AM on November 17 the doc broke my water. We found out there was mucunium again! (totally freaked me out) My contractions started to get pretty intense so epidural to the recscue. At 11AM I started pushing but not much was happening. I kept falling asleep inbetween pushes so we waited for the doc to arrive. After about an 1 1/2 hours of pushing on and off we were getting closer. Camas did not want to come so they tried to vaccuum. They realized she was posterier (face up) so a different vaccuum came out. Twice they tried and I tried with no luck. Her heart rate was dropping rapidly and they told me we had to get her out. The doc was ready with the forcepts and we tried on more time; stopped her and sucked out has much mucunium as possible. She was then taken to the side where respitory was waiting incase, the charge nurse, our nurse and another lady. It was a full house. She arrived at 12:31 PM on November 17. After a few minutes of suction we had a screaming baby in our hands. After all of the stress and worrying she is very healthy and happy newborn!
